I knew a sports romance by Kortney would be AMAZING!
Trey and Whitney dated years prior but suddenly broke up. Whitney moved on but Trey was left wondering what happened. Fast forward 5ish years- Whitney’s divorced and working in the same city where Trey plays for the NFL. Whitney is filling in for a sports reporter to cover Trey’s game. Trey is stunned to see Whitney and Whitney just wants to get away.
I loved Trey! Just an all-American guy in love with a girl who might not like him back. He stops at nothing to win her back even if she keeps saying nothing will happen.
Whitney is guarding her heart from Trey and is having a hard time letting Trey in. She has a lot of growth throughout the story which I loved.
This second-chance romance is cute and totally hilarious!
