I grabbed pom poms from Target this week and they were the perfect sensory bin filler for our unicorn sensory bin activities!
Sensory Bin Filler
First, this big bag of pom poms was only $5 at Target! We originally were going to use them for an art project but when I dumped them in the container I knew the exact activity that would go perfectly with the bright and sparkly colors!
Unicorn Activity
Next, I put in the 2D shape match from our Unicorn Sensory Bin Pack! This pack is filled with different activities that can be easily put into any sensory bin. The cards are small enough to fit into these containers from Target. These bins are only $3 and are small enough to store anywhere.
For this activity, your preschooler will pick a unicorn shape, identify it, then find it on their recording sheet. Next, they will trace the shape that matches. This pack also comes with a recording sheet that your preschooler can color in the shape
This is such an easy way to get your preschooler excited about learning! My girls love unicorns so they were so happy when they were finding the shapes on their recording sheet and traced each one. Once they finished they decided to color each shape in rainbow colors.
This Unicorn Pack also has numbers, letters, and colors activities. It also has a unicorn object match. I made this with the idea that any level could complete the activities. If your child doesn’t know their letters or numbers they can simply just match them. You can jump in and help with identifying. I even have the simple matching activity at the end to work on shape matching. The color matching activity is especially fun because there are so many ways in this pack to work on the skill. I even included simple puzzles for them to “set”!
