T is for Turkey Letter Activity
The first activity is actually a FREEBIE for you!
You will need:
Turkey Paper
Paint
Pom poms or cotton balls
I used small paint trays from Dollar tree to put different colored paint into. My pre k kids took the pom poms with their fingers, dipped them into the paint, and dabbed it all over their turkey sheet. You could also use a clothespin to pinch the pom pom to hold onto.
Once your turkey dries, there is a spot on the bottom to write the letter “t”. You can talk about what sound the letter ‘t’ makes and what it looks like. Keep reading for another letter “t” activity to keep the letter activities going!
Letter T Turkey Activity
This next one can be done on a whiteboard or chalkboard. If you don’t have those, you can get a piece of paper and do it there.
For this one, you are going to draw a turkey and then write random letters around and on the turkey. Make sure to add 3-5 uppercase and lowercase letter t’s to the drawing. Your Pre K kids will circle all the letter T’s on the turkey and cross out the ones that aren’t letter t’s.
