I have a free sensory bin to use for math with your preschoolers. This snowman 2D shapes sensory bin will be easy to set up and will focus on those 2D shapes!
Snowman 2D Shapes Supplies:
Here is a list of the things you will need to make this sensory bin!

Snowman 2D Shapes Sensory Bin Set Up:
This setup is so easy! Dump the bag of cotton balls into the container then add the 2D snowman shape cards. The recording sheet has a snowman with snowballs next to it, so we pretend that the cotton balls are snowballs 🙂
This freebie includes 2D shape cards and a recording sheet. The recording sheet is a shape-tracing page. Your preschooler can trace the shape, color the shape, or both!
How to Use:
Once the sensory bin is set up, have your preschooler pick a 2D snowman shape card, identify it then, trace the shape on the recording sheet.
Your preschooler can go through each shape and once they finish, put all the cards back. Then have them do it again, but have them color each shape instead of tracing. If they don’t want to do it again, save the recording sheet for a different day, then pull out markers or crayons for them to redo it at a different time. Sometimes our preschoolers want to do it over and over again. And sometimes picking a few cards is enough for them. Whatever they are willing to do is still a good thing. They are getting exposed to the concept.
