Smoothies for Kids: Yummy Recipes
We love smoothies at our house and usually make the same one every morning. I wanted to find some more recipes to share with you that are sure to make your kids ask for more!
Banana Strawberry Spinach Smoothie
This smoothie I usually make in a magic bullet!
- Put in half a banana
- 4 oz of milk (cow, almond, oat, etc)
- 4 oz of orange juice
- 4-6 frozen strawberries
- Fill the rest of the cup with spinach
If it doesn’t blend easily, add more milk.
Strawberry Mango Smoothie
This is a tasty one from Well Plated! This one only has 5 ingredients and will tastes AMAZING!
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
This one packs the fruit! A yummy one from Kristine’s Kitchen!
Freezer Smoothie Packs
Mum in the Madhouse has cute names that your kids will LOVE! The names she came up with for some of her smoothies are so creative! Minon Madness was my favorite!
She also mentions putting smoothie ingredients (minus liquids) in baggies ahead of time and freezing them! That was our go-to for years! We usually buy our frozen fruit in bulk from Costco so we would mix the fruits and veggies in a gallon ziploc and then just have to scoop out a cup or two, add liquid, and blend every morning.
Banana Smoothie
Another tasty one from Kristine’s Kitchen! Only 4 ingredients, too!
