Why is having good habits a good thing?

Habits are a good thing because they help us to be more productive and efficient in our daily lives. When we develop positive habits, such as exercising regularly, eating healthy, or practicing mindfulness, they become automatic and require less effort to continue. This frees up mental energy for other tasks and helps us to achieve our goals. Additionally, habits can provide a sense of structure and stability, which can be beneficial for our mental health and overall well-being.

How long does it take to create a good habit?

The time it takes to form a habit can vary depending on the person and the habit they are trying to create. Some studies suggest that it can take anywhere from 21 to 66 days for a habit to become automatic. However, it’s important to note that forming a habit requires consistent effort and repetition. Since creating and keeping these habits can take time. It is helpful to use a habit tracker to track your progress.

Why should we use a free printable habit tracker?

First, using a habit tracker can help you build positive habits, track progress, and stay motivated. Next, it can also help you identify patterns and areas for improvement in your daily routine. Finally, you can also use them in different areas of your life, too! Have one for daily tasks, work tasks, and exercising! The more you think about creating good habits the easier it will become.

How to Use the free habit tracker printable

There are two different printable habit trackers included.

The first habit tracker is a monthly tracker that has 5 habits to focus on for that month. You will write in the habit you want to create. Then, you can be very vague like exercising more or exercising 4 times a week. You will set a goal to help work on that habit. These two things can go hand in hand. Next, if you want to work out more then set your goal to work out 10 times this month. If you want to work out 4 times a week, up that to 16 days. You will write in by what day you want to complete your goal. There is a spot for a reward, too! Some people work better towards a reward and some just want to check off each day.

The second habit tracker is a weekly tracker. There are morning, afternoon, and night activities that you can write about. For example, wake up 30 minutes early to work out, drink a bottle of water every afternoon, and at night put your phone away 30 minutes before bed. After completing each one you can check off the bubble. At the end of the week, you can see how you are doing and continue with the habits the next week or create new ones.

I included the monthly and weekly habit trackers because sometimes we need to see the visual every day vs every month. Checking off daily will increase your chances of creating a better habit. You can choose which one works for you!
