Spider Ten Frame Freebie
I am excited to share this spider themed ten frame freebie that is one of the freebies in this bundle! I created this with a several of different ways to use it! In this pack there are number cards, ten frame cards, and a recording sheet with numbers to trace. You can add the number tracing sheet as extra practice or read to find out how else to make another whole new center with it.
Ten Frame and Number Match
The first way to use this freebie is to place the number cards into a sensory bin or container. You will put the ten frame cards on the side or in a smaller container for your kids to pick from. Your kids will pick a ten frame card and count the spiders on the web. Then, they will find the number that matches it and place it on the ten frame card.
Number Match and Tracing
The next way to use this freebie is to put the number cards into the sensory bin as you did above. Then, add the number tracing recording sheet. Your kids will pick a card, identify the number, and trace it. Like I said before you could add the recording sheet to any activity but this turns into an additional activity if you focus on identifying and tracing.
Ten Frame and Number Tracing
Ready for the next way? Instead of using the number cards, use the ten frame cards. Have your kids count the spiders then trace the numbers. You could also add this to the first way and after they match the numbers they have to practice tracing the numbers.
