Cricut Not Cutting Laminated Stickers
I found that when I put my laminated sticker page into my Cricut it would just keep scanning for the black lines. The shiny laminating paper I was using was causing my Cricut to keep scanning and eventually give me an error message.
Does Waterproof Sticker Paper Work?
You are probably wondering. “why I didn’t just use different sticker paper?” I found that the waterproof, high-quality paper just didn’t print nicely. The black would always smear and eventually, the color would wash away. I found that using a printer paper-sized label and then laminating it was the best two products to use when making stickers with your Cricut.
Cricut Not Cutting Laminated Stickers
The one thing that ALWAYS works for me is to take scotch tape and tape over the black lines on your laminated sticker page. This will allow your Cricut machine to pick up the black cutting lines and cut out your stickers. There are a few different kinds of scotch tape. Make sure not to use clear scotch tape.
