Christmas Pre-K Activities

Ornament Letter Match

For this one, you will need a few extra supplies. I used a clear ornament, a filler (rice, beans, etc), and letter beads. Put the filler and letter beads into the ornament and add the letter recording sheet. Your little one will shake the ornament to find the letters then color in each letter they found on their recording sheet.

Christmas Ten Frames

First, I have a ten-frame matching activity. There are ten frame cards, number cards, and a recording sheet. There are different ways you can use this freebie with all those extras. You can pick a ten-frame card, count and trace the number on your recording sheet or you could match the ten-frame cards with the number cards. Finally, you could just put the number cards in your box and have them pick a card, identify the number, then trace it.

Number Christmas Tree

For the next one, you will need small objects (mini erasers, beans, etc) to use on each Christmas tree. In this activity, you will use mini erasers or beans to match the number on the top of each tree. Your kids will work on identifying numbers and counting as well as fine motor skills! I have included two different versions of the tree. One has polka dots and one is plain.

Santa Letter Match Christmas Pre-K Activities

This is another letter match activity, but all supplies are included! You will have your kids pick a reindeer letter card, identify the letter, then color the matching letter on the Santa beard. This comes with uppercase and lowercase cards/recording sheets, which means you could use uppercase cards with a lowercase recording sheet and vice versa.

Decorate the Tree

This is similar to the one above but you have number cards and a giant tree to use with small decorations. Here are some objects to use for the tree:
Christmas beads
Mini Erasers
Christmas lights
Christmas foam stickers (leave the backing on)

Your kids will pick a number card, identify the number, then count out the objects to match! They will use the objects to decorate the tree.
