It is freebie time and I have a fun apple color freebie for you. This will be perfect for back to school or the month of September. Your kids will have so much fun reviewing the colors and color words.
Color Matching
This first apple color freebie is a simple color matching activity. Your kids will pick a colored object and match it to the matching colored apple. You can print and laminate all the strips and cards to use them over and over again. If you are using it at home, you can cut everything out, have your kids glue the pieces on then staple it to make a fun color book!
Color Word Tracing
The next apple color activity is a fun tracing one. Your kids will practice tracing the letters and making each color word. Even if your kids are not at the stage for learning words it is a great time to talk about the lines they are making or talk about each letter in the word. You can talk about each sound and how the sounds go together to make each color word.
Apple Activity for Toddlers and Preschoolers
I have an apple activity I wanted to share as a bonus for making it this far down! For this one, I drew a tree on a piece of long paper and then wrote letters on it. I had my kids identify, then match each letter “apple” on the tree! This is a perfect activity to review and learn letters. If your child knows their letters, then you can say the sound of one of the letters, and they can find it on their tree. For toddlers, you can make colored dots on the tree and then have them use matching dot stickers to match each colored “apple”.
